We now have an update of a crash involving a State Trooper earlier this week.
The driver of the striking vehicle in this crash has died. Charles Mills Jr, 66, of Bumpass, Virginia was traveling on I-94 when his vehicle struck the rear of a Wisconsin State Patrol squad car. The cause of the crash is still under investigation. We also know that 65-year-old Janice O’Brien, of Bumpass, Virginia was a passenger in the same vehicle and was transported to a local hospital with injuries.
Trooper Ashley Morales of the Wisconsin State Patrol was transported due to non-life-threatening injuries and has been released.
Samantha Marsh, 23, of Ettrick was also involved in the crash. Marsh was transported to a local hospital due to non-life-threating injuries.
The crash investigation continues, and no further information will be released at this time.
