The average cost for regular gas is down a penny-a-gallon statewide compared to a week ago.
Triple-A says the price at the pump in Wisconsin is 2.87-cents a gallon today. That’s 17 cents below the national average of 3.04. Drivers in the Capitol are paying two-82 today, while gas averages two-89 in Milwaukee, two-90 in Racine, Eau Claire and Wausau, two-dollars-and-95 cents in St. Croix County and just 2.76 in Fond du Lac.
