Victory Automotive will paint your cars’ catalytic converter for free this Saturday after police say there have been a rise in thefts.
The Eau Claire Police Department says the parts can be stolen in minutes and are usually taken because of the valuable metal inside. Victory Auto is partnering with the police department to host a free drive through event Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to paint catalytic converters bright orange. They say the color will alert salvage yards that they could be purchasing a stolen part.
