A Chippewa Falls second grader is the winner of a statewide poster contest for Fire Prevention Month.
Every fall, the Chippewa Falls Fire and Emergency Services department hosts the contest and selects five winners from each grade to move onto the state competition. They say the young lady took home first place overall of the second graders in Wisconsin.
