Speed Believed to be Factor in Motorcycle Crash

Speed is believed to be a factor in a motorcycle crash.

It wa on May 8th a bit after 5:30 in the evening when Buffalo County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a motorcycle crash with injuries near the address of S2635 Highway 95 in the township of Cross.

Upon arrvial of deputies, Aaron Nelson was identified as the lone rider of his 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Upon speaking with multiple witnesses who witnessed what happened, they reported seeing a motorcycle that was clearly out of control and operating outside of its designated lane of travel. During the investigation it was found that Aaron was traveling westbound on Highway 95 and failed to negotiate a curve in the road causing him to cross the centerline and then go into the ditch. Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.

Nelson was transported to a hospital for treatment.
