An equipment violation leads to a 2nd OWI for a Hurley man.
37 year old Jerard J Cobb, from Hurley, has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Spooner Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 2nd offense, with three children in the vehicle under the age of 16.
It was on May 8th at 9:51AM when a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped a vehicle for equipment violations on USH 2 near Joe Pajac Rd in Bayfield County. The Trooper performed a drivers license record check discovering a warrant for Mr. Cobbs arrest. Upon further investigation, Mr. Cobb was subsequently arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance, 2nd offense.
Passengers in the vehicle included 3 children, ages 14, 11 and 4 years old.
