Motorcycle Crash Injures Two

An accident over the weekend resulted in critical injures for those involved.

It was on May 8, 2021 at 6:53 p.m., when Officers responded to the intersection of Lake Street and Sixth Avenue for a report of a crash involving a motorcycle and car. There were two people on the motorcycle when it collided with the car. As a result of the crash, the 21-year-old driver of the motorcycle and his 15-year-old brother were transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The driver of the car was not injured.

The 15-year-old male is a student of Eau Claire North High School. The Eau Claire Police Department and the Eau Claire Area School District are working collaboratively to provide services and support to the family, fellow students and staff. The crash is still under investigation by the Eau Claire Police Department with the assistance of the Wisconsin State Patrol.
