One of Wisconsin’s most successful vaccination programs may be in the state’s prisons.
The state’s Department of Corrections yesterday reported that nearly half of the state’s 19-thousand-plus inmates have gotten at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine. About 95-hundred inmates are either fully or partially vaccinated. DOC says there have been over 10-thousand coronavirus positives in the state’s prisons, but only 11 of those cases are considered ‘active.’
