Reward Offered in Animal Cruelty Case

There’s a 500-dollar reward for any information that will lead Dunn County deputies to whoever shot more than a dozen cats and kittens earlier this week.

The sheriff’s office found the cats, along with 18 others that survived, along the side of the road near the township of Spring Brook. The Dunn County Humane Society’s Jamie Wagner says she can’t imagine what led someone to abandon the cats, much less what led someone to shoot some of them. The 18 cats that survived are all being cared for, and may be offered for adoption.
