It’s five-and-a-half years in prison for the woman who tried to have her daughter’s father murdered.
A judge in Chippewa Falls yesterday sentenced Melanie Schrader for murder-for-hire. Schrader pleaded guilty in the case. The man she tried to have killed told the judge yesterday that he still lives in fear of what could have happened.
