MN Makes 60 Arrests Overnight

Police and National Guard soldiers in Minnesota are preparing for further protests over the killing of Daunte Wright.

He’s the 20-year-old Black man shot Sunday during a traffic stop.  About 60 people were arrested last night for rioting and other criminal behavior in Brooklyn Center.  Protests unfolded in several other cities, including Portland, Oregon where a riot was declared.  The officer who fired on Wright has resigned and could be charged as soon as today.
