The newly-elected head of the state’s Department of Public Instruction sounds familiar.
Superintendent-elect Jill Underly said on UPFRONT over the weekend that the state’s Department of Public Instruction is not going to tell schools across the state to fully reopen in September. She said individual schools will have to make that choice. The state’s current superintendent said essentially the same thing last week.
Almost every school in the state has some sort of in-person learning for some of its students at this point.
