The fight over Governor Tony Evers’ list of businesses with coronavirus positives is most certainly headed for the state supreme court.
An appeals court in Madison yesterday said the local business groups suing to stop the governor from releasing the list don’t have legal standing in the case. The governor’s office has teased the list for months, saying people need to know which businesses have seen positive cases. Business groups in the state say the list will unfairly punish any business that ends-up being named.
