CDC Sends WI Money for Vaccine Awareness

Most of Wisconsin’s 53 million-dollars for coronavirus awareness will be spent in the state’s underserved communities.

The CDC yesterday awarded Wisconsin the money. The idea is to encourage more people to get the vaccine. More than a third of people in Wisconsin have already gotten at least one dose of the vaccine. But state health managers say many of those people are older and white. They’d like to see other groups in the state get vaccinated as well.
