Colten Treu wants a second opinion about changing his guilty plea.
Treu yesterday filed an appeal to try and withdraw his guilty plea in the deaths of three Lake Hallie Girl Scouts back in 2018. Treu says his lawyers gave him bad legal advice. A Chippewa County judge turned down his request last month. Treu is serving 54 years in prison for the girls’ deaths.
