The D.A. in Waukesha says seven years in a state mental hospital is not enough for one of the Slender Man stabbers.
Prosecutors yesterday argued that 19-year-old Anissa Weier is too dangerous to be released. Weier was 12 when she and a friend, Morgan Geyser, nearly stabbed a third girl to death. A judge originally sentenced Weier to 25 years in the state hospital. Weier’s attorneys say she’s addressed her mental health issues and has served long enough. They are asking for a conditional release.
