There is a plan at the Wisconsin Capitol to take stimulus checks that are headed for convicted criminals to give them to their victims.
State Senator Julian Bradley yesterday said the idea is to make sure that criminals are not rewarded. Bradley is defending his idea from other lawmakers who say his plan is racist. Bradley points out that many crime victims in Wisconsin, particularly in Milwaukee, are black. He says they need someone to step-up for them as well.
