Members of Congress are asking the companies that make Seresto flea and tick collars to recall the product after a report showing it led to roughly 17-hundred deaths in pets.
A House subcommittee sent a letter to Elanco requesting the recall and for customers to be refunded their money. Another letter was sent to Bayer asking for information about the collars. USA Today reported earlier this month the EPA has received over 75-thousand reports linking the collars to pet and human harm since 2012, including the deaths in pets.
