Prosecutors in Eau Claire are moving ahead with a criminal case against a local bar owner for secretly serving customers last year.
The D.A. filed charges last week against Double Day’s owner Kevin Patterson. The charges say he was serving people inside his bar last March, despite the county’s order against inside service. Police say they caught Patterson serving customers after someone tipped them off. Patterson is due in court to answer the charges next month.
