A deadly crash leads to an arrest.
It was just before 4 in the morning on Monday, February 22nd when Troopers from the Wisconsin State Patrol, along with deputies from the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office responded to I-94 near milepost 55 for a one-vehicle rollover crash with injuries.
A 2008 Dodge Durango was westbound on I-94 when it lost control and rolled into the ditch. An occupant in the rear seat, 35 year old Magdeleno Enriquez Torres, was pronounced deceased at the scene. During the crash investigation, Troopers discovered the driver, 24 year old Raul Chiman-Arce, did not have a valid license and was subsequently arrested for Knowingly Operating without a Valid License causing death. The crash remains under investigation.
