More kids and more local teachers could soon be a part of Eau Claire’s virtual school program.
The city’s school board looked at expanding the program last night. The expansion could also mean adding local teachers. Right now, out of district teachers lead the online classes.
Virtual school is different from the coronavirus-inspired online learning. Eau Claire’s virtual school program dates back to the fall of 2019 and currently serves 64 students.
