It may be too cold this weekend to go snowmobiling, but the trails around Eau Claire County are open for the season.
You may have been paging through the The Leader-Telegram and read that the 181-mile network of trails opened Wednesday. The National Weather Service says temperatures will feel like 30-and-40-below with bitter cold wind chills expected all the way through Tuesday morning.
