Division Three is canceling its 2021 winter championships.
The NCAA announced this is due to low participation numbers among its member schools. Fayneese Miller, the chair of the President’s Council, released a statement that reads in part, “This was a very difficult decision to make, and we were saddened to do so. However, none of our winter sports meet the Championship Committee’s established thresholds of participation to hold a championship.”
