Tributes are pouring in for the man who played “Screech” on “Saved by the Bell.”
Dustin Diamond lost his battle with stage four lung cancer just three weeks after being diagnosed. The 44-year-old was only 11 when he was hired for the hit TV show in 1989. His former co-star Mark-Paul Gosselaar called him a “true comedic genius” while Tiffany Thiessen wrote “God speed Dustin” on Instagram. Diamond was not part of the series reboot.
