A teenager is not going to prison for attacking her brother’s girlfriend back in 2016.
A judge in St. Croix County yesterday sentenced Kali Bookey to probation in the attack. Bookey was 14 at the time she rode her bike to the 16-year-old victim’s home, placed a pillow over her head and beat her up. The victim says Bookey slashed at her throat with a broken bowl. The judge said if Bookey can stay out of trouble for her five years of probation, her criminal record will be cleared.
