A new report from the Wisconsin DOJ indicates many police agencies do not use body or dashboard cameras.
The survey of over 430 police agencies found that about 63-percent, or 274 agencies, use some body cameras but 37-percent don’t. Cost was the primary reason for not implementing the cameras. Seventy-six-percent of agencies that use body cameras say they had enough for every officer to have a dedicated device.
