Governor Tony Evers is calling for a special session of the Legislature. The governor today signed an executive order calling for the special session at noon on Tuesday, January 19th.
Evers wants to modernize the state’s unemployment system and will introduce a plan to appropriate money so the Department of Workforce Development can start the process quickly.
