It is nine weeks of community service for the Eau Claire woman who stole thousands of dollars from the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts as well as from the PTA at Sam Davey Elementary.
A judge last week sentenced Christine Busse. If she doesn’t commit any crimes, her felony charges will be reduced to a misdemeanor. Busse pleaded guilty to stealing 33-thousand-dollars from the groups, but she told police she planned to pay the money back.
