The U.S. House is opening session for what will be a long and history-making day as elected officials vote to formally ratify results of the presidential election.
Senators will join House members at the top of the hour. Congressional ratification usually is a formality, but a group of Republicans plans to object to the results in several battleground states. That will force lengthy debates and votes in both legislative chambers. Many reports indicate that challenges will likely not affect the final outcome of election.

He addressed supporters at a rally outside the White House and claimed those at the rally don’t want to see the election stolen by Democrats and the media. He claimed the election wasn’t close. He said elections in third world countries are more honest than those in America.
