For the first time Congress is overriding a President Trump veto.  The presiding officer announced the results.

Both chambers of Congress needed two-thirds majority to overcome the President’s veto, and both got it easily.  Trump said he vetoed the bipartisan bill because he wanted Section 230 that grants liability protection to social media companies repealed.  He also objected to renaming military bases that honor Confederate leaders.  His other major issue was that it was not tough enough on China.
