A lot of people dug deep for the Christmas Village this year.
Chippewa Falls city officials say donations this year jumped 50-percent, that’s a record. There is no firm count on just how much was raised or how many visitors drove through Irvine Park because the Christmas Village is still open. Chippewa Falls is looking for volunteers to help take down the village and its lights.
