The latest coronavirus snapshot in Wisconsin shows another sign the coronavirus is continuing the downward trend.
The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday reported the fewest number of new positives in a month. DHS reported just over 14 hundred new positives and eight new deaths. DHS also updated its recovered report. The state now says 91 percent of the people who’ve ever tested positive for the coronavirus in Wisconsin have been declared fully recovered.
When it comes to response during the pandemic, more than 10-thousand people in Wisconsin have gotten a dose of the coronavirus vaccine, and that number is only going to go up.
The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday said doctors and nurses administered just over 10-thousand-doses as of Sunday to healthcare workers across the state. The vaccine count came on the same day that Governor Tony Evers announced Wisconsin will get 16-thousand doses of the vaccine from Moderna. Those doses are expected any day now.
