The first woman to sit on the Supreme Court in Wisconsin has passed away.
Shirley Abrahamson’s family says she died Saturday after a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 87. Abrahamson served a record 19 years as chief justice on the state’s supreme court, and she retired last year.
