There’s going to be a meeting today about just what Alfonso Morales will do with the Milwaukee Police Department.
A judge on Friday reversed the Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission’s decision to demote Morales back in August, opening the door to Morales’ return as chief. His lawyer says today’s meeting will decide if Morales will return as the city’s top cop, or if he will stay retired and continue with his lawsuit against Milwaukee.
The city’s Fire and Police Commission hasn’t been able to select a permanent chief to replace Morales since they pushed him out back in August.
