A good Samaritan is helping save Christmas for a family in Wisconsin.
The Wausau Police Department says a man was walking in the city this week when he found three-thousand dollars in cash, gift envelopes and a receipt on a sidewalk. He turned the goods into police, who were able to find the rightful owner after working with the local bank.
The department says they gave him a gift card to a local business for his “awesome integrity.”
