A Wisconsin convent says eight of its nuns died in just one week from COVID-19.
Four of the deaths were during a single day. Sister Debra Sciano of the Notre Dame of Elm Grove convent said it’s a sad situation that has been very difficult for the other sisters. The women were all in their late 80s and 90s.
