115th Fighter Wing Temporarily Grounded

An investigation into the F-16 fighter jet crash that killed a Wisconsin pilot could take at least a year. 

The Wisconsin National Guard jet crashed in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula on Tuesday.  The pilot is identified as Air Force Captain Durwood “Hawk” Jones of Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Meanwhile the Air National Guard announced that the 115th Fighter Wing based in Madison is temporarily grounded.
