Marshfield Pursuit Ends in Arrest

A pursuit in Marshfield ended in the arrest of a Fitchburg man.

It was Tuesday December 8th a bit before 9:30 when the Spencer police department became involved in a pursuit of a vehicle that was reported stolen from the city of Marshfield. Spencer Police department pursued the vehicle south from their city on STH 13 into the city of Marshfield. Once in the City of Marshfield, Marshfield officers took over the pursuit. The suspect fled to the 1700 block of N Peach Av. where he fled from the vehicle on foot, and was apprehended in the 1700 block of N Apple Av.

The suspect is a 36-year-old Fitchburg man.. He has outstanding warrants from Clark County for: 2nd Degree endangering safety, Suffocation/strangulation, as well as for drug and driving offenses.

Marshfield officers will be requesting charges for Operating a Motor Vehicle without Consent, Fleeing, OWI, Hit and Run, Resisting Arrest, and Felony Bail Jumping.
