Border Battle Bounces Off the Gridiron

We are used to the border battle on the field when it comes to the Packer and Viking rivalry, but now there is a border battle of a different kind.

The mayor in Hudson, Wisconsin is considering a curfew to keep people from Minnesota from flooding into the bars and restaurants in his town. Hudson is the first community on the Wisconsin side of the St. Croix River, and is about a half-hour drive from Minneapolis-St. Paul. Mayor Rich O’Connor says people from Minnesota are flooding into his town because the bars and restaurants in Minnesota are closed.

The mayor says he’s worried about the safety of people in Hudson.
