Gov. Evers Asks for More Money, Vaccines

Wisconsin’s governor is asking for nearly a half-billion-dollars more for the coronavirus and nearly a half-million more vaccine doses for the state’s healthcare workers.

Governor Tony Evers asked for both yesterday in a letter to the Trump Administration. The governor says he needs the money to keep testing for the virus, and he needs the extra vaccine doses to protect people who are most at risk. Wisconsin has already gotten two-billion-dollars from Washington D.C. for virus relief. The state is supposed to get just under 50-thousand doses of the vaccine.
