An investigator with the state Department of Transportation is being hailed for uncovering millions of dollars in fraudulent titles.
Joel Ingebrigston investigated a case from the DMV about counterfeit replacement titles being submitted to its customer service centers. In addition to the fake titles, Ingebrigston recovered a half-a-million-dollars in stolen vehicles.
