Dozens of movie theater operators across the state are eligible for grants announced today by the governor.
Governor Tony Evers says theaters face special difficulties accommodating customers and need help paying for cleaning and sanitizing and making improvements to ensure social distancing. The ten-million-dollars in funding will distributed to 54 theaters across the state allowing for nearly 15-thousand-dollars per screen to help sanitize their facilities. The money is available through the federal CARES Act.
