It shouldn’t take that long to recount the ballots in Wisconsin.
Elections Commission Administrator Meagan Wolfe last week said she figures the state can complete a recount by early December. President Trump’s campaign has said they want to count the ballots again.
Wisconsin’s deadline to certify its vote is December 1st, but Wolfe says that deadline can be pushed back if there is a recount underway. It took ten days to count the ballots a second time the last time Wisconsin had a recount, back in 2016.
