The sheriff in Sauk County says he’s no closer to an arrest in a deadly stabbing at Devil’s Lake State Park than he was a month ago.
Investigators yesterday asked anyone who might know anything about the stabbing at the park on October 14 to step forward. John Schmutzer died in that attack. The sheriff’s office says they have a few descriptions of a suspicious person, but they don’t have anything more solid than that.
