Police in Sauk County will be releasing information regarding a murder at Devil’s Lake State Park.
The County Sheriff’s Office will hold a press conference tomorrow morning, but did not give out specifics except to say it is about the fatal stabbing of John Schmuzter last month. Schmutzer was stabbed in broad daylight near the park’s Grotto’s Trail. The suspect is a man described as between five-foot-ten and six feet tall, wearing a dark head covering and face covering.
He left the scene walking west on the Grotto’s Trail towards the South Shore parking lot.
