WI Sees Dip in COVID-19 Death Rate

The percentage of people dying or ending up in the hospital with the coronavirus is falling.

The state’s Department of Health Services reported another four-thousand-plus positives yesterday. There were over seven thousand positives on Saturday. But the spike in positives is driving down the death rate and hospitalization rate. DHS’ numbers show less than one percent of the people who’ve tested positive in Wisconsin have died from the virus, and less than five percent have been hospitalized with or because of the virus.
