Eau Claire County has the fastest rate of new COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin, according to the health department.
The Eau Claire City-County Health Department says the county is now averaging 115-new cases per day, and there are 130-people in the hospital in Northwest Wisconsin. Director Lieske Giese says in comparison to influenza, the county usually sees 70-people in the hospital and two deaths per year.
