Trump supporters are getting ready for a 2020 Trump campaign rally in Janesville.
The President is bringing his re-election campaign to the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport this afternoon. The rally gets underway at 6:00-p.m.
But as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse Doctor Rob Freeland says he wants the President to cancel the rally because rally goers don’t generally observe social distancing. Freeland also claims the President spreads COVID-19 misinformation which places the listeners in danger.
On that note, while the rally plans continue a Dane County official wants to know how President Trump will stop the current spike in COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin. In a statement yesterday, Dane County Executive Joe Parisi said, “Mister President, you’re coming to the new national epicenter of this pandemic. Please tell our state how you are going to stop this scourge.” The county currently has one of the fastest per capita COVID-19 positive case increases in the country.
