DHS Plans System Upgrade

The state’s COVID-19 electronic data management system is to be upgraded over this weekend.

The Department of Health Services says there will be an outage in the system to allow for some improvements to be made.  The Wisconsin Electronic Disease Surveillance System is used by local and tribal jurisdictions, health care providers and public health officials to collect and keep track of COVID-19 info.

The system shutdown started yesterday evening.  The upgraded system will roll out Monday and Tuesday.
