The plot to kidnap and kill Michigan’s governor has ties to Wisconsin.
Federal prosecutors yesterday unveiled indictments against six men who planned to snatch Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and kill her. The six trained for their “mission” in Cambria, Wisconsin back in July. Cambria is in Columbia County, which is in the middle of the state.
The FBI was in-on the plot, and arrested the six before they could carry out their plan. The FBI says undercover agents from Wisconsin helped investigate and break-up the plot.
